Mornings At Leisure, a New Luxury!

Well, I've been painting for many hours, and here is the finished product. The composition changed somewhat, but the idea is the same. These are the things that make my mornings so pleasant: chai, a chocolate "crimpy" from Kelly's, crossword puzzles, reading, walking the dog, maybe a little gardening, leisure time! No more racing out the door to a job - what a wonderful luxury! And now, time to paint too..... aaaaaaah, lucky me!

and are there tasks that you just have to finish before you allow yourself to sit down with your chai, 'crimpy' and crossword puzzle? not as a reward, but simply in order that you can relax and not think about the yet-to-be-done jobs.

These days, I set my own timetables for tasks to be done. It used to be the case that I couldn't relax in my own home, because all I saw were the things that I needed to do. Lately I have figured out how to fit in the "to do's" in between the fun stuff! Everything gets done eventually. I guess the one thing that can't wait is getting the dog out for walks, but that is in the "pleasure" category for me too. Thanks for writing!

I love this. What a fantastic autobiographical painting. You did an amazing job, Sigrid. Beautiful.
