By now you’ve probably heard about Stephen Colbert’s remarks to Emperor W on his lack of attire at the Washington Correspondents’ Dinner. It's amazing how many newspapers ignored this event, and did not report on Colbert's stunning moment of courage. thanks, Sigrid, for posting the link -- I tried to find it yesterday with no luck. His performance was brilliant -- it just outwits all those half-wits present!! Did the guy who invited him really 'get it?' The prez did not look amused, but I sure as hell was!
I thanked him, and was delighted to do so. Hooray for Stepehn Colbert, my new hero.
