Well, we're back in Santa Cruz, as of Saturday afternoon. The remaining trip down was uneventful (how we like it!), and since we got here we've been busily doing all the catch-up stuff one has to do after being away from home for awhile.
Just a further update on my brother Dick. His pathology report was the best possible news. The cancer was not particularly agressive. It was completely encapsulated. The doctors consider it gone. No further treatment necessary. He is feeling terrific. I am ecstatic. Here's a photo of him, with me, in 2003 when he came to help organize my son's wedding! Can you see a family resemblance?
